Most
weddings involve a fairly large investment, and admittedly, wedding
photography can take up a big chunk of your budget.
However, think of it this way: photography (and/or videography) will
likely be the only visual reminder of everything that went on during
your day,
so it is important to hire someone that you feel comfortable with, know
will capture every detail, and are assured of is reliable.
Flowers will wilt, food will be eaten, and people will drink and be
merry, but your photographs will last forever.
I carry a ton of backup equipment, utilize an assistant, and strive to
cover the details and happenings of your day in entirety.
For 2008 commissions, a short, casual affair (five hours or less) will
run you $2,500.
A day-long event (anything over five hours) will be $4,250.
Sound like a lot? It is! And it will be worth every penny.
